Matthew J. Zangwill is an associate in the firm's Real Estate Department, Municipal Development Incentives and Environmental practice groups.
Mr. Zangwill's practice involves complex commercial real estate transactions including the purchase, sale and refinancing of commercial properties. A significant portion of Mr. Zangwill’s practice is dedicated to commercial leasing including office and retail commercial leasing as counsel for landlords and tenants. Mr. Zangwill has significant experience guiding developers and building owners through the condominium conversion process including the preparation of offering plans. Additionally, Mr. Zangwill is experienced in transactions involving not-for-profit corporations, bond financing transactions, IDA financing, mezzanine financing and private equity transactions. Mr. Zangwill continues to be involved in single-family home, condominium and cooperative apartment closings as counsel for purchasers, sellers and lenders.
Mr. Zangwill graduated cum laude from Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College, where he was an editor on the Moot Court Board.
